GAME VIEWING, BUSH WALKS & CYCLING

Sandfields provides great birding and gameviewing opportunities.  Special sights include endangered threatened and protected species such as Southern Reedbuck, Roan Antelope, Sable Antelope and Tsessebe.  The wildlife is relaxed because no hunting is permitted.  Each lodge is equipped with a Landrover gameviewing vehicle.  Nature lovers will also appreciate the diversity of the trees, grasses and forbs.

The topography, with spectacular views of the Waterberg mountain range, lends itself to easy bush walks and some strenuous biking in the Kalahari sand (fat bikes are preferable).
